It is both a legal requirement and of course, best practice that anyone who may come across asbestos in their day to day work has been provided with asbestos awareness training. It is particularly important that those in the refurbishment, demolition or maintenance trades where it is foreseeable that ACM’s may become exposed in the course of their work are fully aware of the risks and how to control them.
