B&Q wanted to control GNFR (Goods Not For Resale) spend and service quality from their supply chain for building maintenance and merchandising changes. They wanted to understand how the supply of pre-planned and emergency access equipment impacted their contractors’ ability to meet service level requirements They also wanted uniformity and assurance over pricing, plus the ability to call off exceptional service when the need arose.
B&Q needed a single source UK-wide solution with guaranteed supply however challenging the request. They had already established a collaborative working relationship with WowNow Hire (WNH).
